Place this anti-skimming card in your card pocket, in close contact with your contactless IC card.
It prevents unauthorized reading of the contactless IC card it is in contact with.
By sandwiching it between two contactless IC cards, you can protect both simultaneously. (It is not effective unless in close contact.)

About the necessity of skimming prevention

This product does not prevent skimming that physically steals information from magnetic stripes.
It is a card designed to attenuate the radio waves used in "tap-to-pay (contactless IC function)" for transportation IC cards and credit cards, temporarily disabling unintended communication.

While IC chips such as those in My Number Cards and driver's licenses are also subject to radio wave blocking, these require a PIN to read internal information, so the risk of information misuse is more limited compared to payment cards.
Therefore, the practical protection priority is higher for credit cards and transportation IC cards, which can be used for payment simply by tapping them.

Other uses

It can also be used as a ruler to measure lengths up to 7cm.

Points to note

*The attenuation rate (the proportion of electromagnetic waves blocked) by this product varies depending on the frequency of the electromagnetic waves, so it does not block 100% of them.
*While this product is in use, the touch function of contactless IC cards and transportation cards will not work.
