Nature's Blessing Beeswax 天然蜜蝋
Human- and nature-friendly beeswax wax
Made only from natural ingredients, it contains no chemical substances such as organic solvents, synthetic resins, emulsifiers, or petroleum jelly. This beeswax wax for leather is gentle on the skin and has a mild scent.
We use high-quality natural beeswax produced in Japan.
The honeycomb structure, where the hexagonal cells of a beehive are arranged seamlessly, is made from the wax secreted from the worker bee's abdomen.
This wax, carefully refined, is beeswax, which has been used since ancient times to protect wood and leather products.
The main component of beeswax, wax ester, accounts for 20-30% of the stratum corneum on the surface of human skin and has the effect of maintaining luster and moisture to prevent dryness.
We blend this beeswax with camellia oil and rapeseed oil to enhance its moisturizing effect. It is a non-greasy, smooth, and easy-to-apply wax.
It protects leather from drying out and makes it less susceptible to stains and dirt.
It can also be used not only for leather but also for stiff zippers.
How to use
- Remove dirt and dust with a soft cloth or a brush for leather.
- Apply a small amount of cream to a soft cloth, sponge, or clean finger, and spread it thinly.
Pay particular attention to areas where oil tends to deplete, such as bending parts. It is not necessary for the flesh side (back of the leather).
Be careful not to apply too much, as it may cause stains or discoloration. - Leave it for about 30 minutes, then wipe it with a soft cloth until it is no longer sticky.
By letting it sit, the wax penetrates moderately into the surface layer of the leather, and the effect lasts longer. Be careful not to leave it for too long, as it may penetrate too much and soften the leather.
Precautions for use
- If stickiness remains, dust may harden.
- Store in a place away from direct sunlight and with minimal humidity changes.
- The effect varies depending on the season (temperature and humidity).
- If the leather surface becomes dry or loses its luster, re-applying a layer will be effective. However, be careful not to do it too frequently, as excessive oil may soften the leather too much.
- The Foschia series does not require application while a lot of white wax remains on the surface.
- Not suitable for suede or nubuck.
- The color of the leather may become slightly darker.
I considered many options and finally settled on this product. The feel of the leather, the scent, and the usability are all superb.
