Challenging the Norm of Thinness

When you put things in a wallet, it gets thick—
That's a universally accepted notion.
The Hitoe® L-zip L challenges that notion.

A thin long wallet that stays thin even when fully stored

｜Wallets get thick when cards overlap

Most common long wallets are designed with cards arranged in a single horizontal row.
All cards overlap in the center, and with the addition of dividers and gussets, the thickness increases.

｜Less than half the thickness: "Double Card Pocket"

Since 2019, SYRINX has been addressing this structural challenge with its "Double Card Pocket."
By distributing cards to two locations, left and right, our unique layout (registered design) halves the overlap.
Furthermore, by combining this with the Hitoe® structure, where cards do not overlap with coins, we have achieved a seemingly contradictory structure that "stays thin even when stored."

｜Only 10mm even when stored

By reducing overlapping leather to the absolute minimum,
the thickness is only 10mm even when storing [8 cards, 10 banknotes, 10 coins].
Even with up to 16 cards, it's 13mm.
The bottom always remains at 10mm.

Typical wallets lose their shape with just a few cards.
The Hitoe® L-zip L maintains its thinness and beautiful form even when fully loaded.

The 2025 model of Hitoe® L-zip L is 1mm narrower and 3mm shorter.
Yet, it offers even more internal space than before.

To reconcile conflicting elements, the internal structure was fundamentally redesigned.
New technologies were introduced into every pocket.

｜SmartFit - Top Card Pocket

A variable structure that optimizes thickness according to the number of cards.
It fits snugly without unnecessary gaps, whether there's 1 card or 8.
Keeps the banknote pocket wide, providing comfortable usability.

｜Floating U - Coin Pocket

U-shaped structure fixed at the top.
To keep it thin, it's important not to accumulate coins.
It's easy to see inside without opening it wide, and coins can be removed smoothly.
Naturally leads to organizing coins as you use it.

｜Under U - Side Card Pocket

Card pocket located under the coin pocket.
Neatly stores up to 8 cards without strain.
Maintains a beautiful line.

｜Twist-in

A structure that is easy to use for both right-handed and left-handed individuals.
Lightly twist the card to open the pocket, allowing the first card to be inserted smoothly.

｜WrapEdge - Banknote Pocket

Banknotes are directed to the wrap-around side, not sewn in.
They slide in smoothly to the back, are less likely to get caught in the zipper, and there's more room for banknotes.
An additional leather lining enhances comfort, texture, and durability.

Many long wallets adopt a wide-opening structure to retrieve coins from the back.
However, coins accumulate at the bottom, distorting its shape and ruining its silhouette.

The Hitoe® L-zip L has a structure that allows access to everything without opening it wide.
It has no unnecessary parts, doesn't increase thickness, and is a complete minimalist design.

Special structure with sliders at both ends.
Access is immediate by opening only the required side.
No need to fully open the zipper every time.

The square bottom efficiently utilizes internal space.
There are no internal parts for about 1cm from the bottom, eliminating elements other than cards.

The Hitoe® L-zip L excels as an extremely thin long wallet for everyday use.
But it's not just thin. It also offers the flexibility to neatly organize essentials like passports, bank passbooks, various tickets, and even keys, for various occasions.

When a passport is inserted, the card capacity is limited to 10 cards.
If an AirTag or keys are inserted, the coin capacity decreases slightly.
However, this balanced approach preserves its thinness and elegant appearance.
