Finest Musou tailoring

All parts are constructed with Musou tailoring, where two thin layers of skived leather are bonded together to form a single piece. This technique, considered the ultimate luxury in leather products, achieves both strength and thinness. Creating a finish that is free of lifting or warping when folded, and appears as a single piece of leather, requires extensive experience and skilled craftsmanship.

Thin details

The edges are formed by layering leather and stitching it on the outside. This is a commitment to "thinness." While folding the leather back and tucking it inwards could reduce the size, it would result in overlapping leather and increased thickness.
These details are faithful to the ideal of a thin wallet.

Metal-free inner hook

A new idea: using the stored card as a fastener

We developed an inner hook (patented) that attaches to the card, not the outside of the wallet.
The wallet remains thin, with a smart leather hook that is invisible from the outside.
This idea made the metal-free, minimalist design of the Hitoe® Fold Aria possible.

In addition to serving as a fastener, it also prevents cards from falling out when carried.

It stays inside, preventing accidental card drops.

It just clamps with leather. That's all.

Its flat exterior simply clasps with leather. With no protruding metal fittings or flaps, it remains thin and won't snag in your pocket.
The design ensures that the inner hook won't come off if the wallet is inverted. Therefore, there's no need to worry about opening it upside down and dropping coins.

Minimalist and smooth operability

Quick checkout with minimal movement

It can be easily opened and closed with a "V-shape" bending motion, which is where "Fold" gets its name. With this one action, the wallet remains upright, and you can smoothly insert and remove all currency and cards.

Bills remain unfolded

Simply insert bills unfolded. They are highly visible and easy to retrieve. Since there are no creases or folds from tri-folding, they are gentle on the recipient and smoothly fit into vending machines and self-checkout registers.
The bill holder is designed to flow continuously from the inner hook. Its curve acts as a guide, allowing for smooth insertion and removal without snagging.

Prevents cards from falling out

When closed, the inner hook secures the cards, preventing them from falling out. Even when the wallet is open, the slipless feature (patent pending) helps prevent cards from dropping.

Smooth and spill-proof coin pocket

The coin pocket is shallow and has no metal fittings like zippers or snaps, allowing you to quickly and directly retrieve the necessary coins.
When storing coins, the lid of the coin pocket acts as a guide for smooth insertion.
Furthermore, coins won't spill out when the wallet is closed. Even when open, the coin pocket lid helps prevent spilling.
There's still plenty of room even with 999 yen (15 coins) inside.

Durable and beautiful for long-term use

Generally, most wallet problems are caused by metal fittings or stitching. However, the Hitoe® Fold uses no metal fittings whatsoever and only four stitches.
Furthermore, the vulnerable corners are reinforced with overlapping outer and inner leather to enhance durability. The seam allowance is minimized, and the design is resistant to losing its shape even in trouser pockets.
