Leather Collection
We believe in the power of natural materials.
SYRINX began with an encounter with Italian vachetta leather.
To bring out the natural beauty and strength of leather,
we create designs using only the leather itself, without reinforcements or core materials.
Please experience the charm of carefully selected leathers from around the world.

Smooth texture
Liscio
Origins
Liscio, Italian for "smooth." Its surface is smooth and fine-grained, with natural color variations and natural marks, giving it a sophisticated and rich leather-like appearance.
Tanning and Manufacturing
"Vacchetta leather" is a traditional Italian leather tanning technique from Tuscany, dating back to the early 9th century. Cowhide is tanned with vegetable tannins extracted from chestnut and mimosa, then slowly infused with oil and finished with dye. The internal oils gradually emerge with use, deepening its color and luster.
LWG (Leather Working Group) environmental certification: Silver rank.
Maintenance
Due to the sufficient oil content, oil treatment is not necessary unless you are concerned about scratches or dryness. For daily care, we recommend wiping with a soft, dry cloth or brushing. For more details, please refer here.

Foggy look
Foschia
Origins
Foschia means "mist" in Italian. It is characterized by its appearance, covered in white wax like a morning mist. As you use it, the wax penetrates the leather, revealing a translucent finish.
Tanning and Manufacturing
Made from bovine shoulder leather from Northern Europe. After vegetable tanning, the surface is lightly buffed (polished) and then treated with white wax. The tanning agent used is derived from the tara pod, a legume native to South America. Although rare, it produces the lightest color among vegetable tannins and offers excellent lightfastness. This allows for a whiter tan than usual, achieving beautiful light colors using only dyes, without pigments. Natural marks may also be visible.
LWG (Leather Working Group) environmental certification Gold rated.
Maintenance
As the wax gradually penetrates, it develops an elegant and natural luster. Furthermore, it contains an appropriate amount of oil, so oil care is unnecessary unless scratches or dryness are a concern. For more details, please refer to here.
Light colors are delicate on the surface and prone to visible stains and scratches, so careful handling is required.

Pull-up leather that tells the time
Antico
Origins
The leather used for Antico is pull-up leather with an antique feel produced by Monteverdi, a prestigious tannery in Tuscany, Italy.
The grain side has a slightly brushed nubuck texture. The oil that has soaked into the leather causes it to pull up vigorously when bent, revealing shading.
Its elegant, matte appearance will settle and the color and luster will deepen with use.
Tanning and Manufacturing
Monteverdi uses high-quality raw hides from Switzerland, France, and other countries, and carefully crafts all aspects of its products, from plucking the raw hides to finishing the leather.
After tanning with vegetable tannins, skilled craftsmen lightly buff the surface to give it a nubuck finish.
LWG (Leather Working Group) environmental certification silver rank.
Maintenance
Because it contains plenty of oil, no wax or other oil care is required. Regularly remove surface dust with a soft cloth or leather brush.
Because it is brushed, scratches are less noticeable, and even if it does get scratched, you can rub it with your fingers and the scar will become less noticeable.
Since the product is dyed to bring out its natural look, care must be taken to avoid water stains. If it does get wet, immediately wipe it off with a soft cloth.

Coast of Normandy, France
Etretat
SYRINX original leather
Specially ordered from the oldest tannery in France, which handles leather for luxury brands. After many discussions, the SYRINX original leather is finally complete.

Journey to France in pursuit of the finest original leather
Our custom original leather is produced by Tannerie Degermann, located in Barr, a town surrounded by vineyards, 35 kilometers south of Strasbourg in the Alsace region of France.
We chose Tannerie Degermann to produce our original leather because they are the oldest and finest tannery in France, possessing deep knowledge of tradition and quality.
After numerous discussions at Tannerie Degermann in France, Etretat leather was finally completed.
Marking the end of Degermann Tannery's history
Due to changing times, Degermann Tannery decided to merge with the nearby Haas company (also founded in the 19th century). After our leather production, the historic Degermann factory will close and be renovated into a museum.
Etretat, marking the end of Degermann Tannery's history, is the culmination of tradition, passion, and technology. Their craftsmanship and the production of Etretat will be passed on to Haas company, aiming for even greater heights.

The beauty of light and shade dyed like a painting
Museum
Origins
Museum Calf is a leather created by the prestigious Italian tanner ILCIA, inspired by the marbled pattern of marble. As its name suggests, beautiful light and shade patterns are created by craftsmen applying multiple layers of dye in a painterly way.
In addition to the dye finish that makes the most of the delicate texture unique to calfskin, the polished silver surface gives off an elegant luster that deepens the more you use it.
Tanning and Manufacturing
Made from finely textured, high-quality French calf leather.
After chrome tanning, skilled craftsmen repeatedly dye the leather with pure aniline using a technique called "hand tamponato". This process creates a transparent, artistic marble pattern. The silver surface is then carefully polished with glass to give it a refined, glossy finish.
LWG (Leather Working Group) environmental certification Gold rank.
Maintenance
Although it has high durability due to the chrome tanning process, it is finished with a dye that brings out its natural look, so care must be taken when handling it to avoid scratches and water stains.
If it gets wet, wipe it off immediately with a soft cloth and regularly remove any dust from the surface with a soft cloth or leather brush.

Towards a sustainable future
Mushroom
Origins
The first mushroom-derived leather alternative in Japan. It features the natural color and texture of the mushroom mycelium itself, without being covered with synthetic resin, creating an attractive appearance. The brown parts are traces of the mushroom's attempt to grow, and no two patterns or shades are exactly alike.
Tanning and Manufacturing
Born from thinly layered mushroom mycelium, it is coated with a natural protein component called casein, without dyeing or coloring. This is a natural finish that brings out the individuality of the material. It does not contain plastics (such as PVC or polyurethane) and is a circular material that returns to nature with a low environmental impact.
Maintenance
While delicate to water, the material's natural patterns and shading allow stains and dirt to blend in. Over time (aging), it develops a greater luster with use. We recommend frequent handling and regular maintenance with Natural Beeswax. For more details, please refer to here.

Bouquet, inspired by a colorful bouquet of flowers. Just like a bouquet that adds color to your daily life, it delicately enhances your hands.

Because the base is a beautiful white, we were able to achieve SYRINX's original, clear, pure pastel colors without cloudiness. It is dyed with aniline dye and finished by spraying pigment. It is resistant to scratches and dirt, repels water, and hardly ages, so you can maintain its initial appearance for a long time.LWG (Leather Working Group) environmental certification acquired.
