White Wax
"Foschia" is treated with white wax, giving it a unique appearance reminiscent of morning mist. As the surface wax is used, it wears off and penetrates the leather, revealing a translucent finish.

Regarding Scuff Marks
Where the white wax is rubbed off, the original color of the leather appears, making it look darker and sometimes temporarily resembling fine scratches. As you use the product, the wax will penetrate further, and these initial marks will gradually become less noticeable, covered by a translucent sheen.
Fine scuffs and pressure marks may occur during manufacturing and packaging, so there may be variations in the remaining wax when you first purchase the item. Please be assured that the leather itself is not damaged, and these differences will become uniform as aging progresses.
Regarding Wrinkles
Due to the wax, Foschia leather tends to wrinkle easily on the surface when bent sharply. As the product is used, these wrinkles will be covered by a sheen, and the appearance will gradually settle.
The video below shows an example of a product that was intentionally bent to create wrinkles all over and then used for about one month in a back pocket. The sheen increases, and the wrinkle pattern takes on a more subdued look.
