Leather change for Liscio series
We would like to announce a change in our leather supply system for the Liscio series, which previously exclusively used ELBAMATT from Italy's Tempesti. The raw hides used for leather are byproducts of the meat processing industry. However, in recent years, there has been a trend towards increasing the calorie content of feed to shorten rearing periods, leading to a noticeable deterioration in the quality of raw hides across various companies. Meanwhile, as SYRINX expands its business, our leather consumption is also rapidly increasing. To ensure a stable supply of high-quality leather, we will now source leather from multiple tanneries. Concurrently, our existing color lineup and color codes will also change.
In addition to Tempesti, new tanneries to be adopted are: Badalassi Carlo Conceria 800 Lo Stivale Including Tempesti, all of these are tanneries that produce the highest quality vachetta leather. Since each company's leather has different characteristics, we plan to identify and use the most suitable leather for each product. Some specifications, such as the treatment method for the flesh side, will also change.
Additionally, there will be changes to the color composition and names. In particular, the Fragola and Lattuga colors for all products will gradually be discontinued and sold until stock runs out.
We apologize for any confusion and inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding.
