The multi-functional pen we most recommend for the Hasamu A4 is the ZEBRA SHARBO X LT3. It comes as a body only, without refills, and you can add your preferred mechanical pencil and two colors of ballpoint pen refills.
The SHARBO X LT3 is the slimmest in the Sharbo X series, with a barrel diameter of only 9.3mm.
The body is made of brass, offering a good balance of rigidity and weight. Combined with its perfectly optimized size, you can feel the quality when you hold it in your hand.
It does not have the looseness often found in multi-functional pens. It doesn't rattle when shaken, allowing you to enjoy a stable and luxurious writing experience.
What's particularly noteworthy is the function switching mechanism. It's a rotary type that operates smoothly and silently. Structurally, Rhodia's multi-functional pens have a similar mechanism, but despite being beautiful in design, the user experience is vastly different, with the Sharbo X being superior.
For design, not just the appearance, but the tactile sensations such as touch and feel are extremely important. This is an excellent product that reconfirms that fact.
Fit in the pen holderThe clip is spring-loaded and movable, making it smooth to attach and detach from a pen holder. I believe the design would have been even better if this clip part had a matte black finish.
Since the refills are 4C standard (0.1mm thicker than D1), we recommend using genuine ZEBRA refills.
