Natural Mark
Natural leather is imprinted with "natural marks" throughout the hide, a testament to the animal's life. Scars, blemishes, and insect bites acquired during its lifetime contribute to its unique character.
While these features are often concealed in embossed or pigment-finished leathers, they are particularly abundant in "aniline-finished" leathers, which prioritize the texture and feel unique to high-quality natural leather. Please enjoy the beautiful and authentic leather texture not found in artificial leather.
Furthermore, aniline-finished leather is also characterized by its rich aging process. The natural marks enhance the depth and character of the color and sheen as they change over time.
Scratches
"Scratches" are minor abrasions or insect bite marks that cattle acquire when bumping into things or fighting. Cattle raised in good, natural environments, such as those on pastures, tend to have more scratches, but they also grow up healthy with less stress, resulting in better leather quality.

Veins
"Veins" are the most common natural marks found in natural leather. These are traces of blood vessels beneath the skin, which may appear faintly on the grain (leather surface), remain as light wrinkles, or be clearly visible on the flesh side (underside of the leather).

Tiger Stripes
"Tiger stripes" are long, striped patterns that form when the complex-shaped animal hide is flattened into leather. They are called "tiger stripes" because they resemble the patterns on a tiger.
They are particularly common in leather made from the shoulder, where the skin stretches and contracts significantly. In Italian leather, they are highly valued as a characteristic that enriches the leather's appearance.

Pinholes
"Pinholes" are remaining pores or hair roots. These are often seen as natural features, especially in aniline-finished leather with minimal surface processing.
