A new form of crowdfunding
The first project to hold a crowdfunding campaign (hereinafter referred to as "self-crowdfunding") on our own website, without relying on external platforms, successfully concluded yesterday.
We simultaneously launched two new versions of Hitoe Fold Aria and received applications from a total of 394 people, amounting to 13,002,000 yen.
As this was an unprecedented endeavor in the industry, we were initially concerned about its acceptance, but the response exceeded our expectations, and we are sincerely grateful.
Self-crowdfunding is a system where customers' support and contributions directly reach the project creator without the intervention of a third party. It can be described as the ideal form of crowdfunding.
Regarding advertising, by attracting customers to our own website instead of an external platform, we can help them learn more deeply about our brand.
This project was not merely a product launch but also an attempt to introduce this new form of crowdfunding to the world.
We hope that the success of this project will contribute to the wider adoption of self-crowdfunding.
