7 recommended pens for挟む A4
Hasamu A4 is an analog tool that allows you to draw by hand, get direct feedback, and expand your ideas. The writing feel of the pen is key to that analog sensation.
However, the pen holder can only accommodate shafts up to 10mm in diameter.

The recommendations above are listed in order of preference (excluding discontinued products).
Since only one pen can be attached to the Hasamu A4, many people might think a multifunction pen would be convenient. However, most multifunction pen refills are small, thin D1 (Zebra is 4C) standard. The writing distance is only a few tens of meters for water-based gel ink and a few hundred meters for oil-based ink. For example, Mitsubishi's Jetstream 0.7mm has a writing distance of 200m. If used daily, frequent replacement is unavoidable, and cost-performance is not good.
In contrast, the Caran d'Ache 849 Goliath refill has a writing distance of 8000m. Even with 2m of writing per day, the ink will not run out for over 10 years, offering excellent cost performance.
Therefore, we recommend using single-function pens for daily use, and reserving multifunction pens for when you are out and about without a pen case.
