New Leather Lo Stivale

Regarding the leather specification change for the Small, Thin Wallet Hitoe Fold -Liscio- that we announced recently, the first release will be Lo Stivale. The Bordeaux color will be the first to arrive.

Lo Stivale is a tannery that exclusively produces vachetta leather. It is a well-established tannery in the industry, recognized as one of the "big three" tanneries for vegetable-tanned leather in Santa Croce, Italy (Badarassi, Lo Stivale, Tempesti).
While its recognition in Japan is not yet high, we discovered this tannery by chance while searching for a leather for HITOE FOLD that could replace Elbamatt.
Compared to Elbamatt, it has more firmness and body, giving it a solid feel. As a result, the outer leather is now thinner, at approximately 1.7-1.8mm, and the interior is approximately 1.0mm, making the overall impression slightly slimmer.

Furthermore, in conjunction with the leather change, we have also made some minor improvements to the specifications.
The back surface features a polished finish, which reduces snagging when inserting banknotes. The dyeing is "core-through" (leather dyed all the way through to the core), ensuring that even the thinly skived reverse side of the leather is beautifully colored.

The Bordeaux will be a limited edition sale of approximately 40 units. It will be available soon, so we recommend signing up for restock notifications if you wish to purchase it.

The second release is planned to be Natural, using leather from Conceria800.
